Clive Smith

Clive came to Australia from England in 1992 and married Vicky that year. They have two teenage daughters.

After owning and operating a roofing company for eight years Clive accepted a position at EChoice, one of the largest mortgage broking companies in Victoria. Here he received intensive training both in house and from lenders.

In 2003 most of the management moved from EChoice to set up Mortgage House in Victoria and Clive was asked to join them. Here he learnt more about complicated loan scenarios that required problem solving as the borrowers had often been turned down by larger lenders.

After two years at Mortgage House Clive joined Partnership Finance Group. They dealt much more with commercial lending and specialised securities.

By 2007 Clive knew he had the experience and knowledge to leave PFG and set up his own company, Clive Lawrence Lending. Since then Clive has assisted hundreds of customers to achieve their goals by getting their loans approved swiftly and efficiently. He has particularly skill in assisting self employed borrowers.

Clive has a science degree from Kingston University and a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management. He is a full member of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) and the Credit and Investments Ombudsman (CIO).

Victoria Horn

Vicky has worked with Clive since he began as a mortgage broker. Vicky does the vital day to day running of the business which leaves Clive free to concentrate on working with customers.

Since 2015 she has worked for MIND Australia as councillor assisting families with mental illnesses.

Vicky has a Bachelor of Psychological Science (honours).
